The Lodge hosts more than 40 wedding receptions annually, accommodating parties of four to 350 attendees. An on-staff Lodge event coordinator will work with you from the first day of planning until the last of your guests departs for home. Not only does the Lodge have wonderful guest rooms to satisfy the lodging needs of your guests, but has an array of casual and elegant dining room settings overlooking the 3-Par-3 golf course, marina, lawns and gardens. Our experienced chef and his staff carefully prepare and artfully present meals with only fresh ingredients, serve to your table by our professional, well-trained service staff.
Our 12 acres of well-groomed grounds
and waterfront are a picture perfect setting for an outdoor Door
County wedding ceremony, followed by an elegant reception in the
historic Lodge banquet rooms.
Many couples who have their ceremony off-premises elect to have the
bridal party photographed on the Lodge grounds utilizing the mature
landscaping, myriad of flowers and historic architectural features of
the Lodge as a background.
Lines-of-sight and table communications are virtually uninterrupted by the use of round tables for seating of eight or ten dinner guests per table. Freshly laundered and crisply ironed white tablecloths and napkins adorn each table, complimenting our white china, silverware, clear glassware and candle-lit centerpiece. The head table, cake table and gift tables are rectangular, then topped and skirted with crisply ironed with white linen.
Groups of many sizes can be accommodated in private banquet rooms. The Carriage Room, which seats 156 people, plus a 12-person head table, is one of the most popular rooms since it adjoins the Great
Room (seats 140 people) and the Flagship Lounge. Sliding doors from the Carriage Room and Flagship Lounge lead to a raised wood terrace overlooking the front grounds and marina. The Flagship Lounge has a raised performing platform with a wood dance floor and 29’ tall wood truss ceiling draped with U.S. State flags, making this room acoustically ideal for musical entertainment. As a prelude of your special day, a few meal options are offered for rehearsal dinners:
- Individual meal selections from our evening menu.
- A Traditional Door County Fish Boil prepared over wood-fired pots, including Whitefish steaks, onions, carrots, potatoes, dark bread, cole slaw, beverage and finished with home-baked cherry pie ala mode.
- Chuckwagon Grille…enjoy corn-on-the-cob, baked beans, wagon trail chili, pasta & garden salads, cole slaw, corn bread while your entrée of chicken, steaks, baby back ribs, brats, hot dogs, whitefish or shrimp-kabob is prepared on the Lucerne patio grilles.
- Desserts are available.
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, in addition to an extensive wine list is available.
Our goal is to attain a memorable day for you and you have many things of great importance on your mind. Since you will have directly hired the wedding cake baker, entertainment, florist, photographer, etc., we can be of assistance to appropriately direct those vendors while they set-up.
As your guests arrive and sign in the wedding registry book, you may opt for your guests to greeted with flutes of champagne passed by the Lodge staff, self-serve champagne or non-alcoholic punch fountain, self-serve or staff passed Hors D’oeuvres and Appetizers.

Additional services available:
- Wedding Ceremony - Interior room up to 100 people $150.00 room rental only.
On the grounds or terraces $150.00 no rental items.
- Cutting and serving of your wedding cake on the Lodges standard china plates and silverware…fewer than 60 people $30.00 service fee, 60 or more people $50.00 service fee. Personalized paper napkins by host.
- Skirted tables $8.00 each.
- Gift opening…there are many areas available to the newlyweds and their families for opening of gifts---Lucerne Lounge, Fireside Gathering lobby or wood terraces (all free of charge), or in a private dining room with a brunch.
- Music and dance floor service charge (DJ or Live) $50.00 per 4 hrs. or portion.
1 hour setup and 1 hour teardown allowed for DJ or Band...charges will be assessed thereafter. Customer shall be responsible for any damages caused by contracted services.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available during the reception, dinner and party afterwards. Tap beer in quarter and half barrel quantities. The Lodge offers an extensive wine list; your Lodge wedding coordinator will be happy to assist you in selecting an appropriate wine for dinner accompaniment or wedding toast to the bride and groom. Unless otherwise directed by the wedding party, all beverages will be available throughout the event as a ‘Cash
Bar’ sale where guest pays for drinks when served, or, ‘Open Bar’ sale wherein host pays for drinks on a bar tab basis. “Last Call” is at 1:30am.
