Meetings and Banquets 

The Lodge had the largest seating capacity in Door County for meetings and banquets, comfortably seating 15 to 350 people. The facilities were a top favorite selection of many groups for business meetings, seminars, retreats, trade shows, reunions, auto clubs, outings and social events. A few of the guests have been:

Various seating arrangements were readily adaptable to the rectangular rooms providing for unobstructed views of a head table and podium, whether the needs were Classroom, Theatre, Conference or Banquet style.

• The convenient ground floor location of the meeting rooms, break-out rooms, cocktail lounges and dining facilities.
• An overhead speaker system provided broadcasting into each room.
• Each of the meeting rooms offered views overlooking the front grounds and marina.
• Audio/visual equipment - slide projectors, large and small screens, podium, VCR and monitor, chalkboard, flip charts and video recording services were all available at reasonable rates.

A professional meeting planner and service oriented personnel ensured that the event was properly detailed to run smoothly.

Successful group events at Leathem Smith Lodge included delicious foods selected from the regular menu or an extensive Group Menu Selection Guide. For a different twist---guests can enjoy a traditional Door County Fish Boil or Chuck Wagon cookout, special banquets, theme dinners and refreshing meeting breaks--all available to enhance your event.

We will happily to act as your Concierge to arrange transportation, hay ride, trolley, entertainment, boat cruises, Charter Fishing for Lake Michigan salmon and trout or small game fish, northern pike and smallmouth bass, golfing, tours and such other of your needs, so you can relax and concentrate on the purpose of your stay with us. Cherryland Airport is for private planes and is located just a ten-minute ride from the Lodge (we provide free shuttle service)...there is a commuter service between Chicago's Midway Airport and Cherryland. Nationwide air service is available through Green Bay's Austin Straubel Airport...rental cars and limo service are available for the 51 mile drive.
